CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

DEADLINE: JUNE 15, 2021

The University of Saskatchewan's online literary journal, The Fieldstone Review, is now accepting submissions of creative nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and reviews for its 2021 issue. The Fieldstone Review welcomes original, previously unpublished work of quality in a variety of styles and genres.

The theme of this year’s edition is ESCAPISMS. Topics might include, but are not limited to, imagination, reverie, daydreaming, virtual reality, fantasy, the fantastic, video games, role-play, mental wellbeing, and even simulacra. Though we welcome all submissions, preference will be given to those works that engage with this theme. We are proud to announce that this year we are able to offer a literary prize of $100 CAD for the best submission as chosen by our editorial team!

Finally, we are also calling for artist’s submissions for this edition’s banner. Please submit your work as a .JPG to the following address with the subject line “Banner Competition”: fsr.editorinchief@usask.ca
